Salt for cleaning

I use salt to clean lots of tuff clean up jobs from stains on counters, to stuck on stuff in pans. 

• To clean your bathtub squeaky clean use a lemon cut width wise and smush it in some plain cheap store bought salt and scrub. 

•   To clean stuck on food off your pots and pans, just sprinkle some salt on a dish cloth or you can use a halved lemon and scrub away.

•  Get rid of the white water marks on your furniture, by making a paste of cheap salt and olive oil on a soft cloth and gently rub, the rings will disappear before your eyes.

• When I worked in restaurants we use to use salt and ice to clean dirty coffee and tea pots.  You could use the salt on a clean cloth as well.

• To remove rust, just mix cheap salt with cream of tartar and a little water, use this paste to rub the rust down, let dry and buff with a clean towel or rag.

   

   

  Keep your cloths from freezing in the winter, by adding a spoonful of salt to the washer, it will also brighten your colors and white.

   

  Clean your iron with salt and it will lift up all the gunk and make your iron smooth as silk.  If you have a wood heated iron, you can use lemon and salt and it will life any rust, clean and smooth the iron back to good as new condition.
